Governor Brown signed AB 1525, which authorizes City Clerks to perform marriage ceremonies effective January 1, 2015.

Before the City Clerk solemnizes their first marriage, they must review all available instructions from the County Clerk. Please be sure to that all of your training materials are amended to include information specific to City Clerks before January 1, 2015.
